   Registration for the 2010 -2011 Season is now closed,

  as we are in the process of reviewing our numbers

  to determine the number of teams we require in each division.

Registration Fees have been set for the 2010 – 2011 Season.

 As a result of the increased insurance fess, increased ice fees & the addition of the HST applied directly to our ice costs,
Southpoint Minor Hockey has been forced to increase our registration fees for the first time in over 4 years. The new fees are as follows:

Early registration takes place from March 1/10 to July 31/10
Regular registration takes effect August 1/10

      Mites - $460 standard
     (2004/2005/2006)  
 
     Tykes to Midget  - $560 if registered by July 31/10 
     (2003 – 1993)  - $610 effective Aug 1/10

     Juvenile  - $460 if registered by July 31/10
    (1992/1991/1990)  - $510 effective Aug 1/10
    Note: this division will run only if registered numbers allow for a team this year

If you registered on-line last year, you will need to use the same user name & password as last year. (Jenn can access it if necessary)
If you are new this year – you will need to choose"FIRST TIME? REGISTER NOW!!" 

At the end of the on-line registration you will be given the option to pay in full by credit card 
or send in payment by cheque.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL REGISTRATION FEES ARE FROM MARCH 1/10 TO JULY 31/10
REGULAR REGISTRATION FEES ARE EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1/10
***All first time players will qualify for the early registration prices at any time.

ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE THEIR REGISTRATION PAID IN FULL BY AUGUST 31/10

Things you need to know...

* You will need a VALID e-mail address to continue
* Our payment options include:
    ~ full payment by credit card processed on-line
    ~ full payment by chq – sent to PO Box or dropped off at the complex desk
        ALL NSF CHQ ARE SUBJECT TO A $25 FEE

    ~ full or partial cash payments- contact Jenn
    ~ partial credit card payments -contact Jenn
* All players must be registered & paid a deposit
* First time players - you will need to provide Southpoint Minor Hockey with the player’s 
   birth certificate – you will be eligible for the Early Registration Special Fees at any time
* We will have a few registration days in the minor hockey Board Room to assist you. 
   The dates have not yet been determined.

2010 -2011 Registration Policy:

All players are required to participate in any fundraisers.
Refund Policy
Registrations fees will be refunded only upon written application and on recommendation 
of the Board of Directors for the following reasons:
6.0.1. Any player who is registered to play but withdraws prior to October 1st 
shall be entitled to a full refund.
6.0.2. Any player who is registered to play but withdraws between the commencement of the 
season and October 31st of the current season shall be entitled to a full refund minus a
20 % administrative fee. 
6.0.3 Any player who is registered to play but withdraws between November 1st and 
November 31st of the current season shall been titled to a full refund minus a 
40% administrative fee
6.0.4. Any player who is registered to play and begins play for a team but withdraws after 
November 31st and the completion of the season shall not be entitled to any refund
6.0.5. The Board of Directors shall consider a partial refund to a player who cannot participate for 
the remainder of the season due to injury/medical condition (a medical physician’s note is required)
or a change of address in which the distance would make it difficult to participate in SPMHA. 
Proper documentation would be required for either situation. A pro-rated administration fee 
(excluding travel fees) would apply. 
6.0.5 No late fees will be refunded 
6.0.6 SMHA travel fees (not team fees) will be refunded at the same percentage rate 
as outlined in 6.0.1 to 6.0.4 above. (amended Jan.4, 2006)
Note: The administrative fee is defined but not limited to expenses incurred at time of registration, 
ice time usage, referees fees, insurance etc.
